THE MUSICAL PLAY CATS

Have any of you seen T.S. Ellots and Andrew Lloyd Webers, musical play CATS. If your not a fan of this play and like to throw tomatoes at CATS. Then you are in the wrong alley and I would suggest that you keep your tomatoes to yourself. But, if you are a fan then we have a lot in common and I would love to share my fanaticism with you. I fell in love with CATS at about 6 or 8 , when I was introduced to the play through a t.v. show on PBS called Reading Rainbow. Some of you might even remember that t.v. show. Anyways, I was blow away when I saw them back stag putting on make up and rehearsing their songs and dances. I have always been a big fan of the performing arts and CATS to me, has all the elements of a good Broadway performance.
I actually didn't get to see the play until I 23 years old, but I was just as excited as when I first discovered the play on television (if not more). I was not disappointed with the show but I did wish that I had better seats. I also have the DVD, which is nice, so that I can go back and watch all the details that I missed. When I'm really stressed out or depressed I simply put in the CATS DVD and let my cares drift away. Of coarse I cry every time when Grizzabella belts out Memories. But, still my cares are out of my mind for a moment. After Grizzabella has been chosen and proudly heads to the Heavy Side Layer. I am left feeling a sense of peace and happiness. I feel as though I am ready to face my challenge and what ever else life tosses in my direction.

MY FAVORITE REAL PERSON PLAYING CATWOMAN

But for me Julie Newmar will always be the true Catwoman. She was the first one I layed eyes on and drew me into this fascinating character. To me Batman would be dull without Catwoman and Julie Newmar playing Catwoman made Catwoman even more interesting.

I personally believe that Eartha Kitt is truly more cat than human, which is why I think she was purrrfect as Catwoman II.

Michelle Pfiffer's purrrformance as Catwoman on the other was phenomenal. Even though they didn't go with the comic book story of Catwoman, which, deep down I sort of wished that Tim Burton would have gone with. None the less Michelle was purrrfectly magical for me.

Lee Merryweather wasn't necessarily my favorite Catwoman but I think she did a superb job of filling in for Julie at the last minute. I will forever wish that it was Julie which is why it is hard for me to except Lee Merryweather as Catwoman.

WHAT IF QUESTIONS FOR BATMAN ?

For all you Batman fans out there in blog land. I am daring to ask questions about the Dark Knight, that some of you may have thought about but where to embarresed to ask. Batman is human after all and I would like to know how he would over come some of these challenges which I will now enquire.

1. What happens when he feels diarrhea comming on while on duty?

2. What happens when he gets an errection? That suit looks aweful tight to me.

3. How dose he handle the flu and throwing up while on duty ?

4. If He finds a kidnapped baby and the baby made an over loading suprize in the diaper? Will he change the baby?

5. Dose he know how? Maybe he has a spare diaper in the utilty belt for such emerganies.
